Hopefully our experience was unique. The staff was helpful but not always in a timely manner. The rooms were clean and affordable. The transportation to and from the venue was the main reason we had our guests stay at the hotel and that worked out.
My now-husband and I LOVED our experience at the Viana hotel for our wedding weekend this past October. The valet and front desk people were so nice and helpful in getting us checked in with all of our things, and helped us manage the trickling in of the remainder of the bridal party and pampering crew between the night before and the morning of our wedding. Because of the amount of people we booked in our block, we were able to get a free night in the bridal suite, and a free shuttle for our guests the day of the wedding. Most importantly, our new friend, Louis, was the most helpful throughout the weekend, not just to me and my husband, but to everyone in the hotel, period. He was so nice, and supportive, and truly cared about our happiness. I honestly can't say enough good things about him. Everyone who stayed there with us loved him as well. As for the rooms, they were gorgeous and well equipped with great, natural amenities from their spa that I wish I could have gone to. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. My only suggestion for improvement would be to put attachments on the shower heads to increase the water pressure. We arranged for a wedding after party at the hotel bar. It was nice, I just recommend reading the fine print before you order snacks for your guests, as you may be overcharged, which almost happened to us. We also booked a morning-after brunch on the Sunday of that weekend which was also great. The food was good, and it was nice to have our party be somewhat separated from the rest of the hotel to recuperate from the weekend of celebrating. I plan to come back to the Viana Hotel for a stay-cation and to try out the spa services in the near future!
We booked the Viana for our hotel block and they did not disappoint. The hotel is lovely, my bridal suite was large enough for 7 ladies to get ready with 3 hair stylists, and they really care about you and your stay. The staff is so attentive and on top of everything. My only con would be that there were 5 other bridal parties at the bar for the after-party so it took a long time to get a drink, even in a wedding dress. :) But everyone had a blast!
The Viana Hotel and Spa was an amazing hotel for our guests to stay for our wedding weekend. We had a lot of out of town guests and they all found their stay to be great. Erin was wonderful to work with and was a great help in setting up our room block. She was great communicating with us regarding our hotel block and was very accommodating when we had to add new rooms as our guest list grew. They gave out welcome bags to our guests that we had made up. My parents had a suite with the kitchenette booked so the girls could get their hair and makeup done and there was plenty of room. Our suite had the balcony and they made it up with rose petals and left champagne at the end of our wedding night. The day before, my bridesmaids and I booked spa appointments which were amazing! We had also had set up a breakfast the next day for our guests and the food was delicious.
The Viana Hotel and Spa were amazing they accommodated for all my guest and made my wedding weekend one I will not forget. Louis greeted us at the door for our bags and was more the helpful the entire weekend we were there. We had our rehearsal dinner here also. Food was fantastic everyone loved it they still cant stop talking about it. Before you go make sure you get an appointment for a massage and facial from the spa. It was so relaxing and absolutely needed either before or after and event. Finally I would like to Say thank you to Erika Jensen the Makeup Artist at the hotel. She did a fantastic job on my bridal party and myself. I would recommend her to anyone for any event she was amazing.
