The salon at East Wind was absolutely amazing. I got married on 5/25/14 at The Estate at East Wind. I had 11 people getting their hair and makeup done. My wedding was at 12:00 p.m., and I wanted to be done by 9:00 a.m. so I would have a few hours before the ceremony to take photos. I spoke with Loretta who is the Director of the Spa and Salon to see if they could accommodate all 11 women at an early hour since we needed to be finished by 9:00 a.m. Loretta was great. I met with her after my hair and makeup trial and she put together a schedule for the morning. The salon opened early for us. We began at 5:00 a.m. and finished just before 8:45 a.m! I was nervous that since there were so many girls that we wouldn't finish in time, but we did! The hair dressers and make-up artists were great. The mothers and my bridal party loved how their hair and makeup came out!!!The salon is large so it is great space if you choose to have your whole bridal party get their hair and makeup done together. I used Kay and Nicole for my hair and makeup and they were amazing!

We had our wedding at East Wind Caterers, Country Gardens, Saturday, May 15, 2010 and we have to say East Wind gave us an amazing wedding. John & Elizabeth were so helpful every step of the way, as well as the rest of the staff there. The place is so beautiful - we fell in love with it the minute we saw it. Our families and friends are raving about the elegance & beauty of the gardens and the cocktail hour building, as well as the cozy atmosphere of the reception building. They were also amazed at the quantity of food and all we kept hearing was how delicious everything was from the cocktail hour to the dessert. Kathleen, our Matre’d, did an amazing job!! She made sure everything went smoothly and was right there when we needed her. We cannot say enough about her!! Our wedding was a fantasy wedding from start to finish-honestly. The complimentary guest room for night at the hotel topped off a perfect day!!! Thank you for an amazing wedding!!!
WE had our wedding at East Wind Caterers, The Estate, this past Sunday, 5/30 and WE HAVE TO SAY THAT EAST WIND IS THE BEST. John from Catering was so helpful every step of the way as well as the rest of the staff there. The place is SOOO beautiful - we fell in love with it the minute we saw it. Our families and friends are raving about its elegance and beauty, too. The food is incredible, their house vendors are awesome (esp. Franklin Wayne and With All My Heart/James Cress Florists). Our day was a fairy tale from start to finish-honestly. Thanks for a magical experience EW!!! -:)-
Our wedding day was even better than we could have possibly imagined. We were married in the Estate. We had our rehearsal dinner at Desmonds (located inside the inn) that night before. Our guests were able to stay at the inn the day before and after, and we were able to make a mini destination wedding weekend. We were even able to take advantage of the spa inside the inn for nails with the girls, and a couples massage the day after the wedding. It was incredible. The accommodations just made the entire experience that much better. Everyone loved the food, especially the cocktail hour. Our ceremony space was gorgeous, and we did not have to spend additional money on decor because it is already perfect. Jeff in the banquet office helped us every step of the way. He is great! Our matrd and bridal attendant were wonderful and made us very comfortable. You will have an unforgettable experience at the East Wind! I highly recommend the Estate or the cottage for a more intimate and private event.
Everything at East Wind was absolutely PERFECT! I did my pictures at the Inn then went over to the Estate. We did some cocktail hour stations outside, being that it was an absolutely perfect day. Guests raved about all of the food, and what we tasted was absolutely out of this world, which still amazes me as we had a ton of all different types of food. Our bridal attendant, Mary Lou, was absolutely amazing the entire time. She made sure that my husband and I were eating and drinking plenty of water, along with whatever we were drinking. The reception was absolutely flawless! The food there was just as good as the cocktail hour, and the service was impeccable! Everyone who was there absolutely raved about the food, service and venue. Scott was my Maitre'd and he went above and beyond! Every detail I told him was executed perfectly, I can't say enough good things about him! He's an absolute rockstar!
