La Bonne Boulangerie Bakery made out dream wedding cake. We went into our meeting knowing exactly what we wanted and they we able to give us exactly that. Not only did it look beautiful at our wedding, but guests raved about it's taste as well!
The cake was beautiful and exactly how we wanted it. Typically wedding cakes are either stale or spongy, but our cake was so fresh and tasty! The staff was also wonderful, recommending a delicious mocha filling that was a huge hit with our guests.
When searching for a wedding cake vendor I found La Bonne online though wedding website reviews. It seemed like this company had good reviews and many people commented on the quality AND taste of the cake. Though my cake tasted good it looked horrible, and let's be honest most people spend so much money on a wedding cake because it's supposed to be a piece of art. I called the bakery the day of my wedding to say how unhappy I was with the cake and they told me there was nothing they could do because my event was starting soon but that I should take pictures. I took over 30 pictures and emailed them all to the owner. He never called me, I had to call him. He repeatedly apologized and was kind on the phone but refused to take any responsibility for the cake, he blamed the catering hall for the incident. I was very unhappy with the service I received though he did offer me a refund of about 20% I do not feel as this was appropriate given that the cake looked terrible and I was embarrassed to even display it.
The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted wonderful too! Very happy with the service!!!
