Bridal Suite of Bay Shore

I went to Bridal Suite of Bay Shore just on a whim--my aunt wanted to dress shop with me, and she lives out there, plus they were having an Allure Bridal trunk show at the time. I figured it couldn't hurt to go, because I had my eye on an Allure dress anyway. I was shocked at the assortment of dresses! I worked with Antonella, who told me I had come at the right time (10 months before my wedding), since sometimes the dresses can take up to 8 months to come in. Antonella was amazing--I showed her some pictures, and she pulled some beautiful dresses for me, including the Allure I just knew I was going to love. I also pulled a few dresses that weren't part of the trunk show, and she pulled a beautiful Lazaro. It turned out, the Allure I loved looked horrible, and I ended up with a breathtaking Mori Lee dress that came out of nowhere. She also pulled a few veils for me, so I'd get the "full effect", and wouldn't you know I ended up with both dress AND veil that day! They sent me a post card for my first fitting, and from the very first everyone was very responsive to how I felt and what I needed. We ended up having to put Velcro on the inside of the dress, to attach to my bra, because the boning they put in wasn't enough, but the seamstress was a lovely woman. She came out and answered any questions we all had, and they took off some of the beading from the dress where it was scratching my arms a little without taking away from the look of the dress. My ONLY issue was that someone had left a pin in with the beading--it had a white head, so it looked like a pearl, and on my wedding day, what I thought was just sensitivity on my part was actually a pin! We managed to pull it out, halfway through my night, but honestly it was only a small issue, and my arm was fine. If you get a chance, DEFINETLY look into Bridal Suite--I cancelled my Kleinfeld's appointment and never looked back!

I am so happy that I got my dress and the bridesmaid dresses from the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore. After to going to several other stores their service was far beyond all the others. They were able to help me get the discontinued dress I wanted by speaking directly with the designer. From choosing the dress to ordering for out of state bridesmaids to the alterations process I can not say one bad thing about the staff. They helped make my wedding day perfect!!
