Westbury Manor

Everything went smoothly with preparing for my wedding at westbury manor. The food was amazing and delicious. However, the Matradee and the bridal assistant that I had for my wedding did not seem well coordinated. They were not completely on top of everything. This was the only downfall to the wedding. But everything else went well. I had my ceremony there as well. They provide the flowers for the ceremony however I wish they told me to buy a runner. As I was walking down the isle, my heels were getting stuck in the grass. So if anyone decides to have their wedding get the runner. They do not provide a runner and completely forgot to get one myself. Overall it was a good venue to have the wedding.

My parents were married at Westbury Manor 30 years ago and have always talked about how beautiful their wedding was. Once I saw the venue my husband and I knew we found where we would get married. The staff was amazing throughout the wedding process and the day of the wedding was absolutely perfect!! My friends and family say it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. The grounds are gorgeous, the food is incredible, and the staff is amazing! One of the major benefits of Westbury Manor was they give every guest 7 options for the main course!! We never saw anything like that in all of the venues we went to, and they make everything fresh so it could be made to our guests preference. We are begging all of our friends to get married there because of what a great time we had!! We also used Gary who is the Florist at Westbury Manor and besides being the most reasonably priced flowers we came across he did a beautiful job!!! He actually hand delivered my bouquets to my parents home the day of my wedding and was with my husband and me for our first look of the room to make sure the centerpieces were what we hoped for. His flowers blew us away with their beauty! If you book with Westbury Manor you have to look into his gorgeous arrangements!!

I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and overall the experience was wonderful. My maître de was Phil and I absolutely LOVED HIM!!! Anything I needed, whether it was more lip stick, a drink, another server at the bar, or wiping smushed cake off my face (thanks to the new hubby), he was on it. No complaints, no attitude, all smiles and he genuinely made me feel like he loves what he does. I cannot say enough good things about him. If you have your wedding at Westbury Manor, you want Phil to run your event. On the other hand, and this is the ONLY reason I am giving Westbury Manor 4 stars instead of 5, my bridal attendant was the WORST!!!!!!!! She was pretty much non existent. Her name was Sam or Sammy or something. She was there when I walked through the door, when we got dressed, then I went down to do the first look and she was gone after that. She helped me go to the bathroom once, and by helped I mean she walked me up there, and she had a miserable face on the entire time. My bridesmaids and Phil had to pick up the slack which I'm sure made Phil's job even harder. Once the reception came, Sammy(?) went from ****** bridal attendant to straight up food server and I never saw her again. I was under the impression that bridal attendants are supposed to be with you the entire time seeing if you need a drink, help with your dress, your bustle, your make up, help to the bathroom, anything you need I thought they were supposed to be there. She wasn't even around to help my MoH with the bustle. You can guess who helped instead...yes...PHIL. And come to think of it, my photographers assistant, who was also his girlfriend and has done all things bridal professionally, was an even better bridal attendant than Sammy. She was the one lacing up my gown while Sammy was, well, somewhere. Maybe Sammy was just having a bad day. Things happen, we've all been there and I can understand that.

We had a specific budget when we began looking for venues and had initially thought Westbury Manor would be out of our price range. After visiting several other venues on long island we decided to explore Westbury Manor. We met with Lorena Burlak who welcomed us with her friendly and warm personality and walked us through our options step by step. We were so impressed and delighted to find out that they were in our budget and delivered much more than we expected, as well as more than the other venues we visited. Before we booked, they gave us a free tasting in their Polo Lounge restaurant for us and our parents. We were able to try hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. After meeting the friendly staff, trying the delicious food, and considering their generous package, we decided we had to book Westbury Manor. The staff at Westbury Manor are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. From the moment I arrived on my wedding day, Sandra, my Maitre d’, took charge and made sure our wedding went according to plan. She also made sure that all of our vendors had what they needed to make our day extra special. My bridal attendant was wonderful as well. She assisted me with my dress and made sure that I was always comfortable and had what I needed. Our guests also commented at how professional and pleasant the wait staff was. The food is spectacular and our guests were impressed with the many different options available. We received lots of praise for the quality, and variety of the food. They were accommodating to our guests with gluten and food allergies as well. We were also impressed that the alcohol selection was top shelf liquor. We could not have asked for anything more special and beautiful for our wedding day. The stunning setting and gracious staff turned our dreams into a reality. I highly recommend Westbury Manor to anyone looking for an unforgettable and magical experience.

I recently had my wedding at Westbury Manor and it and they were amazing! I had my wedding in the gardens there and my cocktail hour was outside. The presentation of the food was amazing, from the mash potato bar to the cold displays. The food was so good and the service was impeccable. I had Walter as my Matre d and Isabel as my bridal attendant. They were there when ever I needed them and made sure that my new husband and I were taking care of as well as the rest of my family and guest. I would use them again for my next event without a second thought. Hands down they are the most amazing place to have a wedding!
