We absolutely loved our wedding ceremony. April listened to all of our requests and really made it unbelievable. We got many compliments on how nice it was. We highly recommend her.
After having some initial disappointment in finding a wedding officiant for our same-sex marriage we were thrilled to find Rev. Gismondi. The time she took to get to know us was valuable and was evident in the personal elements of the vows she drafted. Her attention to detail, support, guidance and delivery the day of the wedding was amazing. We also appreciated the kindness she showed towards our ring bearer who was very cute in wanting to untie the rings but also very time consuming. Would recommend to anyone looking for personal attention from someone is the true definition of professional.
April was great from start to finish and she was perfect during the rehearsal before the ceremony and during the ceremony! Everybody complimented on what a great ceremony we had and it was thanks to April. She was recommended by my sister-in-law/matron of honor after she experienced a friend's wedding ceremony that April officiated. The meeting and writing process was very smooth. Her website provided a lot of great examples, guidance, and links to get the writing and paperwork done. We strongly and highly recommended April as your officiant for your big day!
Reverend April was truly incredible in every step of creating, editing and performing our ceremony. My husband and I met with a lot of officiants in our search for an interfaith reverend, and no one even came close to the authenticity and creativity of Reverend April. She was pleasant to work with, always responsive to my emails or phone calls immediately, and helped make this process so easy for us. Our guests were touched by the very personal and unique ceremony, as were my husband and I. Many other potential officiants promised a 'personal' ceremony, then had us flip though a book of pre-prepared ceremonies, asking us to choose what we liked. Reverend April met with us for over an hour at our first meeting and spoke to us, taking notes on what we said, and then created our ceremony from that. She is incredibly professional and reasonably priced as well. I could not recommend her more highly! Amazing.
Hi April & Everyone Reading this! If I have one thing to say about April it is to book her, BOOK HER NOW! If you want that ceremony, you know, the one where the macho men are brought to tears, and the one people talk about saying it was 'the best they have ever seen done' then this is the officiant you want. Every single person at our wedding gushed over our ceremony. It is so worth it to get a personalized piece done, it was like she knew us forever. My Mother even said it seemed as if April truly loved us like she was a part of our family. Her voice inflection and genuine smile just add to the beautiful words she will say at your ceremony. Traditional or not, she adds the perfect touch to your wedding day. The phone is still ringing asking for her information which we are happy to give!
