If you want to spend the money for the best florist on the island, then go with James Cress. They have the best flowers and do the best work. What they did for me was perfection. Although expensive,they were worth every last cent.
James Cress is a wonderful florist. Gary, the owner, is a very nice guy. Their flowers are SO beautiful and their work is exquisite. We worked with Gary Cress to plan our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. I only had to show him a few pictures of what styles I liked and he created the perfect centerpieces, bouquet and ceremonial flowers. I don't know what we would have done without Gary - by the time we arrived at our wedding venue for the ceremony, everything was set up perfectly and looked amazing. Gary seemed to think of everything - he included flower petals for the tables and decorated the archway for our ceremony. We have used James Cress in the past and would most definitely use them again in the future - excellent service, great value and really beautiful flowers. :-)
James Cress came highly recommended and really did a fantastic job!! The flowers were fresh and beautiful and we got a ton of compliments on them. A lot of the guests took the centerpieces home and said they lasted for over another week! We loved what they did with the flowers throughout the ceremony and reception. It was (almost) exactly what we wanted...our Chuppah was beautiful with the flowers placed exactly how we imagined them, but the Chuppah itself was SO small! I wish that Liz had been more clear about the size and location of the Chuppah, as it wasn't on our contract and I never thought to ask about the size. We barely had enough room for us and our parents and the Rabbi! As for the location, I was told the Chuppah was going to be made from a gazebo-like thing that was a permanent fixture at the ceremony location, but it wasn't. Instead, it was made right in front of it so it threw off our whole bridal party procession and setup around the Chuppah. That isn't entirely James Cress' fault because our venue also failed to inform us of the discrepancy. However, at the end of the day, we were super happy with the beautiful arrangements and the job they did!
I've used James Cress for several affairs in the past and their quality and professionalism cannot be beaten. Their designer created bouquets that were gorgeous and more than met my expectations.
