We had our wedding at the Mansion at Coindre Hall in Huntington with Lessing's as the caterer. Our wedding was absolutely wonderful. Our Maitre d was John and he was great; I received many compliments for him. Lenore was such a pleasure to work with and so helpful with everything along the way. I would highly recommend Lessing's; they made my wedding!
My wedding took place at the Bourne Mansion on November 3, 2012. Throughout the entire planning process Ben, Miriam, and Steve were accessible, responsive, warm, and extremely helpful. They allowed us to visit the venue multiple times to show it to parents and plan decor. I have not a bad thing to say about the planning process. What I was most amazed about is the few days leading up to the wedding and the wedding itself. Getting married 5 days after a major hurricane Sandy wiped 80% of Long Islands power out and caused devastation everywhere is not ideal. With a ton of family flying in from all over the world we could not even consider cancelling. Lessings gave us so many different options including changing the date, cancelling completely, or lowering the guest count. They were so flexible and accommodating. Just like everyone else on Long Island, the staff at Lessings all had their own difficulties with the storm. They put all of their personal challenges aside multiple times to talk to us and meet with us in the days prior to the wedding. We altered the timeline the day of multiple times because of last minute changes due to the storm. Steve was patient, listened carefully, and adjusted on the spot. We were in a dream world the entire night. It was hard to believe that the entire venue was running on a commercial generator because the power had been lost. Our wedding wound up being absolutely perfect. For the past few days friends and family have called us constantly telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they have ever seen and the best wedding they have been to. I owe so much of those comments to the top notch service that Lessings and all of their staff provided.
We were married this past week at West Sayville Country Club. The GM Steve and the MaitreD' Annie were AMAZING. Everything was affordable, the food was FANTASTIC, and we never worried about a thing! Our wedding went off without a hitch and our guests were FLOORED!! I cannot put into words how pleased we are with our dealings with West Sayville. Thank you, Steve! Thank you, Annmarie! GET MARRIED HERE!
We just celebrated our wedding and couldn't be happier with the service and elegance the Mansion at Timber Point provided. Jonathan our maitre'd was great. Anything and everything that needed to be done or fixed was taken care of quickly without any real delay. Jonathan and Nicolette (bridal attendant) were so attentive and extremely professional. They definitely put our minds at ease and made us King and Queen of the night. All of our guests raved about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue is. Our wedding was a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for a better day and a better venue to celebrate in.
I have only great things to say about Lessing's Caterers and the Bourne Mansion. Everything from the décor, food, atmosphere, and impeccable service speaks for itself. Our maître d was on point with everything, very professional, and a businessman. He made sure mine and my wife had a drink in hand at all times and always asked us if we were doing good and if we needed anything. He had complete control over the entire staff and they were excellent as well. Our wedding coordinator/planner was also great. She was responsive to all our emails/texts/calls throughout the entire year of planning. The place is immaculate, the food is exquisite, and the service is beyond unsurpassed. We highly recommend this magnificent venue to anyone.
