Beyond terrible experience. I'm not high maintenance, but this place has NO IDEA what they are doing and ZERO accountability. What was supposed to be an exciting experience resulted in dissapointment, aggravation and STRESS. There is no communication between the seamstresses, manager, and sales consultants. Save yourself the grief!!
If you want a magical experience, this bridal suite will not didsapoint. I had Eileen when trying to find my dress, and she was phenomenal. After my dresss was chosen, I had to have several fittings, and all throughout did a wonderful job. Will say they are very very expensive. Plus, the bustle for my dress, while gorgeous, never survived the wedding. My new husband stepped on it, the dress tore, and I had to be safety pinned for the rest of the night. Plus ended up just holding my dress. But they still were really nice people overall.
When shopping for the dress, Bridal Suite definitely worked with me. It was my first time trying on dresses and they were aware so they made sure to put me in every style, fabric, and type that way when I made my decision I wouldn't regret it or wish I had tried on a different type. I fell in love and their mini celebration made the experience so sweet. I got my alterations done there and that was the only time I ran into a couple hiccups. I ordered a size 14 to fit my butt but my top is a size 4 and on top of that I had lost weight so they did have to take it in quite a bunch. Three times later and a week before my wedding it looked horrible. I was freaking out and if it wasn't for the saleswoman who zipped me the seamstress wouldn't even have realized it was the inside corset that was the issue. Finally we figured it out, I came back later that same day to try it on again, and it fit! I looked flawless the day of and couldn't have been happier with my choice. :)
I had such a positive experience here I couldn't go adhere else with out comparing. My consultant Joann ed professional and so helpful.I walked in having no idea what I wanted or what would look good on me. She managed to find my dress by the second one. Nothing compared. Finding a veil was a little more tricky and Jo-Ann had no problem having me come back and try them on until we found the right one. Couldn't have had a better experience. I haven't used their alteration department but have been assured they r one of the best on the island.
I had such a great experience at the Bridal Suite of Bayshore! It was the second place that I went to try on bridal gowns and the service was top notch! Lauren (who isn't there anymore) couldn't have been more helpful or attentive -- she listened to the ideas I had and picked out the most beautiful dresses and allowed my mom and sister to do the same. In the end though, I chose a dress that she had picked out, which goes to show that she knows what she is doing. From there, everything with my gown went smoothly. It was ordered and came in correctly, the alterations were minimal, and the bustle (OMG the bustle) was so beautiful -- I loved my dress with the train and without just as much!! The bridesmaids dresses also were taken care of seamlessly. The one hiccup we did have was with my mom's dress -- it was one issue after another and countless alteration appointments; however, in the end (2 days before my wedding) we picked up my mom's dress and it was perfect! So thank you to everyone at the Bridal Suite of Bayshore!
