Absolutely love this place!! I loved the intimate vibe! Sarah was amazing! She started off with asking the price range which many people don’t ask. She is going out of her way to help me with a dress I Love. I haven’t said yes to the dress yet but I will 100% get my dress from here
I recently purchased a bridesmaid dress from the Bridal Suite. Approximately 6 weeks before the wedding I called to get a status on when the dress would arrive. I was given a date that was after the day of the wedding. I reminded the receptionist of the wedding date and was told “not to worry the dress would have to come in on time”. The dress arrived 2 weeks prior to the wedding day. It took 4 trips to the shop to get altered and even when I left with the dress (48 hours before the wedding) it still wasn’t right. The dress was uncomfortably tight and had stains all over. When I pointed out the stains at the final fitting (stains were not there for the 2 prior fittings) the girl told me if I would like to wait while it was being fixed it would take an hour. Not more then 20 minutes later she said it would take a few hours and that I should come back just before close that evening. When I returned hours later the dress was the same. I pointed it out yet again and she took it upstairs to work on. The girls tried to blame it on the manufacture, claiming condensation in the bag the dress arrived to the store in. But as I said, there were no stains prior to my fitting earlier that day. She was unable to get the stains out and told me the manager and owner were on vacation with limited cell service and they could not give me a discount without their approval. When I asked her to try calling them she was able to get through but didn’t let me speak to her. I was only given a 10% discount off the dress and still asked to pay for alterations despite it needing to be altered 4 times and still not being correct. Turns out other girls in the wedding party had issues as well including a few missing a hook and eye (we had to sew a girl into her gown hours before the wedding). I would not recommend going to this bridal shop for any dress. It was a stressful and disappointing experience.
The dress shop was very helpful from beginning to end. Eileen helped when looking then all of the girls up in alterations were so wonderful and very helpful and the seamstress was phenomenal. Couldn't be happier with my beautiful dress and how it looked perfect
I purchased my mother of Groom gown here. The entire staff was a delight! So kind, not pushy, helpful & professional. My dress really says "me". The shop is immaculate, never felt rushed, alterations were expert and charge was nominal. Dress came in 7 weeks before event. Run to Bayshore Bridal!!
All of my bridesmaids ordered their dresses from the Bridal Suite of Bay Shore. I worked with Eileen to help me find the perfect bridesmaid dress. She was very helpful and this location was one of the only salons on Long Island that carried the dress I wanted my girls to try on, and the dress that I ended up going with. They were able to price match for a cheaper price I found online. We weren't so pleased with the alterations department. My sister went to pick up her dress and the sleeves were still pinned and not even finished. One of the girls had to pay extra to get extra length because of her height and they ended up cutting most of it off. I also experienced shopping for my dress here. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, they were very helpful and have beautiful dresses. Overall I would recommend the Bridal Suite of Bayshore for their wide selections of bridesmaid dresses/ brands.
