- Take It ALL “OFF”: The “NUDE” look is what you can expect to see brides wearing this summer. It’s all about showing off your inner beauty by playing up your natural beauty with muted lips, sun-kissed cheeks and radiant summer skin.
- Twist The Night Away: Braids and twists are topping this season’s hot coif sensations. Think layered braids, fishtail braids and face-framing halos.
- Take A Brow: Bodacious brows are what’s trending now. Taking a cue from “old” Hollywood (starlets), brides are taking a go big or go home approach to brows that pop and enhance their eyes.
- Hair Free Attitude: Not all brides want pomp and circumstance on their wedding day and that includes a hairstyle that’s care free. This summer it’s all about free flowing tresses and undone updos for an edgy but elegant look.
- Lip Service: Contemporary brides are glossing over shaded lips and opting for a hint of tint with just a subtle application of gloss to add shine and shimmer to an otherwise natural kisser.
- Brown-Eyed Girl: Natural looking lids were sizzling during fashion week this year. Brides who want to go “au naturale” should consider (matte) brown eyeshadow and liner. Just be careful to steer clear of dark and bold mascara which may be too harsh for such a subtle look.
- Pink Ladies: Light pink lips are also in this season. Think muted shades coral and other natural tints.
