What would you do?

So we have narrowed our search from tons of places to just 2! Glen island on a Friday in Oct ( we cant make their minimum on a Saturday in Oct) or the View on the Hudson for a Saturday night. I have read tons of reviews on Glen island and really really like it but, I have always wanted a Saturday night. Also the view is one party and Glen is 2. The View is smaller and really pretty with water views. The man there is very willing to work with us and throw in stuff, glen island is a little tougher to negotiate. They are both around the same price. I know many people on the LI boards may not be familiar with the view but I have gotten really great advice from you ladies in the past! So please let me know what you think!

What would you do?

I have never been to The View but I LOVE Piermont (I cycle up there)--it's beautiful! If you've always wanted a Saturday night, I say go with The View! I happen to be getting married on a Sunday (can't do Fridays regardless because I'm Jewish) but if I had to choice, I'd prefer to go to a Saturday wedding vs. Friday.

I've been to weddings at Glen Island Harbour. It was one of my top favorites when we went venue shopping. The room we wanted was available but it seemed too small since we have a huge family. Otherwise I would have definitely chosen them!

Since you want a Saturday wedding and they are willing to work with you I say go for the View :)
