Venues in the $100-115 and under range

Hi everyone,

I'm having such a hard time finding a venue/date for my wedding. I don't live in LI anymore, so I haven't been able to visit anything in person, which has made this whole process really difficult. I am really concerned with budget, and am really hoping to pay no more than $100 pp, preferably for a Saturday night, but I am considering Sundays too.

I had asked a similar question before and got some great advice, but i had only asked for quotes for March/April; but I want to expand my flexibility to pretty much any month. I have been looking into the Riviera and Fox Hollow (thanks to advice on this site, thank you!!!), but I feel like I am possibly overlooking so many venues, and from a distance it is hard to narrow down since most places don't have pricing information on their websites. I was wondering if anyone else could send me quotes of any and all venues in that ~100-115 range, the month the quotes were for, etc. Help!!

Thanks a million <3

If u wait to book u can get better prices. We started looking in march for our wedding so only 6 months out and most venues were offering us great deals 100 or less pp on dates they had open. There was only one place that had nights available however. The places we looked at were in your price range were Timber Point, Mansion at West Sayville, Snapper Inn, and Venetian Yacht club. The Riviera gave us a great deal for a Sunday day time and we actually booked them for September 13th, signed the contract and gave them a 5k cash deposit only to be called later to be told they double booked us. So I wouldn't suggest them.

You do get a great deal if you wait until about 6months out. Personally I couldn't do it, as you then can't book any vendors since you don't know a date. Also, places like fox hollow book up years in advance. I have a friend that planned her wedding at fox 6 months out though, paid 75 pp in the garden terrace room and had a great event. It's too risky for me, but people pull it off!
