Venue Help!

Venue Help!

Ok, I am asking on behalf of my sister (she just got engaged!!)

She is looking to have a wedding with about 75 people. She is looking for something nice that is scenic. She would love a beach wedding on a Sunday afternoon.

Would love ideas for venues that are not too expensive. She wants to barely spend 1/3 of what I spent on my wedding.

Thanks in Advance all!

Crescent beach club? Miller beach surf club? Lombardi's on the bay? Trying to think of smaller venues on the water.

Snapper Inn! My mom got remarried there and it was beautiful!

It's not on a beach but, the Mansion at West Sayville is waterfront and reasonably priced. I know for summer months the LI Maritime Museum can also be used and is also on the water.

The view in oakdale does Saturday afternoon weddings - food is really good and they shut the entire place down for you

No idea size or price, but there's Captain Bill's in Bay Shore

My engagement party was on the Lauren Kristy, which is a paddle boat that goes around the GSB from the Bayshore Marina. That could be another great option. Our guests loved it and I know they've done weddings before

I believe Woodlands at Woodbury does smaller weddings.

Miller Beach Surf Club would work perfectly.

The Riviera. Really negotiate with them and they will throw in things and waive ceremony fee.
