hey ladies, just need to rant ...i have been on the search for a videographer and going back and forth whether i wanted to get one or not, FH doesn't want but I know i'll regret it. Anyways, I was in contact with one who's videos I LOVED a few months ago, very nice and answered me with a price. a few weeks later when i talked to my fh into getting one, i tried to get into contact again with them and no answer with both calls and email. I finally called him at a random time , he answered and gave me a run around about how he may have another one booked and that he would contact the other couple and get back to me. still havent heard from him and I'm just annoyed either way he should answer calls or at least emails and not give potential customers the runaround! maybe its a blessing in disguise, but I'm still bummed.

We aren't doing a video. Number one, it's just an added expense that I will just cringe at while watching, and number two, we know next to no one who even watched their video after the first year or two.
If you need to find a reasonable videographer, I suggest asking on Thumbtack.com. The site puts out your query to multiple vendors and they come back with a price. I've used it before for queries on other wedding things and received some reasonable quotes.

If he's giving you the run-around now then I can't imagine what it'll be like with the planning process. Check out Direct Image films.. a friend used them this past August for her wedding and the video came out beautiful and her trailer was ready in a WEEK! If we hadn't already booked CTM, we would have met with them.

So sorry you had to go through that but rather you find out now that the day of. That happened with my husband and I with our DJ. We changed our date for personal reasons and called our DJ with the new date. He accepted but did not let us know he double booked. Long story short we were able to get another DJ but it was a pain when you leave message after message and email after email and no response. Not cool and unnecessary stress needed when planning a wedding.

I love my videographer. He's an award winning filmmaker. If you want his info pricing, just FM me. I think a good wedding video is extremely important. To see my grandparent's after they pass, to see my family altogether, to see the emotion in the moments, that's all supremely important to me!

That is disgusting customer service, you are much better off going some where else. Im using Lotus for my photo and video I would check around with other places to see what they offer.
