ey jlu i think they just give you the placecards!you either have someone do it for you or you write them out.

were printing ours.. but not doing it on the chcc placecards.. its to hard to do them one by one. you can get a sheet and feed it thru the printer. for the engagement i got ours at michaels and it was easy!

thanks rk and mrs.G
I will check out Tandoor and Akbar,
I know Jewel of India's food is great, we just didn't like that lady's attitude.

jlu, I am glad that you had a great time with your FH, and don't worry, you will have a life time with him..only 4 wks left..wow...

I haven't heard from luvabul for a while, last time she posted that she had FMIL problem. I hope she is okay and everything is resolved.

I am busy packing and moving these few wks, havent done any wedding planning.. I am so behind...

sorry lately alot o f dont mind me

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

Hey ladies..

gg-- good luck with finding caterers! gosh moving!! i hated moving lol... i feel for ya..

jlu, i added my table place cards to my wedding items album... i did them myself...
bought glassine envelopes the size of business cards, created a word template for business card size lables and typed out 12 #s for each table.. (ten 1's on page 1, ten 2's on page 2, etc..)sent the file and font to kinkos and they had it cut and ready for me in an hour... i then had to stuff the envelopes, and print skinny lables for the guests names once i know which table they sat at...
it was an excruciating experience but i wanted that look, it was well worth it for me :)

good luck!

as far as maitre'de goes...i put in a request for jerry because i heard he was next in charge after lawrence....i'll let you girls know!

happy 4th! enjoy the bbq's! Me...i'm doing seating charts and then off to have some bbq with the fam
