My father was from India. My name is Chand. I know it means Moon! lol

I'm 50% Indian 25%Italian & 25% Norwegian.

I'm not having an Indian wedding though. I never followed the religion. My father was killed when I was four. But I figured I'd respond since I was Indian! LOL

btw, my wedding is part american/part indian: wearing a wedding gown but my bmaids are wearing sarees, etc.

i have never learned much about the Indian side because of my father ..

but i do know i want some Rasmalai!!!

do you know where I may find some on Long Island? Or where to order some online!?

I haven't had that in so long! LOL

ok here are some pics from my first trial ~ we did one style at the trial and then i kinda played around with it.

oops! my pics didn't post? anyone know how to do this? i uploaded the pics to my computer and then i put them in where it says 'image attachment'

rasmalai is one of my favs! you can get it at pretty much any indian restaurant. or there's a indian snack place (not really a restaurant) in Hicksville called Rajbhog Sweets it's on 106/107 near Delco Plaza

It's possible that the file size is too big - the biggest it allows is 60kb.

Hey Ladies!

i have a few questions...

1. do you know anyone that would come home to do the henna?

2.. who are you using for your makeup? I've been looking around but i'm doing bindi (spelling?) and i'm not skilled in putting that on so i'd like to have someone who knows how to put it on.
