Any ideas on how to honor my 4 year old niece either at the church or reception???
You see, I've decided to ask my other two nieces (my goddaughter and my fiance's goddaughter) to be the flower girls...and I would like to honor my other niece, however I cannot make her a flowergirl (because I have others I would have to include and it would get way out of hand). I really want her to feel important by having her do something...any suggestions???
I'm thinking of having her help hand out the programs or birdseed, but I want her to do something that just SHE is going to do.

How to honor Father-in-Law
Why not ask him for an idea??? Perhaps he's been hoping to do something specific and hasn't found the right time/way to ask you???
I agree with your cousin...an announced dance (perhaps after the one with your father) would be sweet and appropriate. Perhaps you could ask him which song HE'D liked played...that way, he'll be included in the idea and be forewarned.
Jessica, I'm in the same boat. My father-in-law-to-be doesn't have a daughter either, and I would like to know some of the ideas you come across.

How to honor a father in law
In order to make both of my fiance's parents feel special, they are both walking him down the aisle! Why should I be the only one given away? They're both tickled pink to be part of the procession - all too often the grooms parents play second fiddle to the bride's family.
Actually, since we're having only a BM & MoH, to honor our 4 siblings, we've included them and their significant others in our procession.
