Help with venues

Hi everyone. I just got engaged last Saturday. This will be the second marriage for the both of us. We're considering having a buffet style wedding. Are there any venues that offer that at an affordable price

The Bates House in Setauket is affordable and beautiful. We used Elegant Eating caterers and I couldn't recommend them enough. They took care of everything and the food was amazing. They worked with our budget and we had an affordable wedding

Congratulations on your engagement.

I don’t know what affordable means to you, but I know Terrace on the Park in Queens does buffet and two years ago their quote was in the $80 range.

Just FYI, sometimes buffet can cost as much as plated. If it helps, my Thursday night wedding at Chateau Briand was $88 pp, 4 courses with 10 choices of entrees for the guests and a massive cocktail hour, and the cake was included among other things.

I'm rusty with the planning.lol we'll be getting married at city hall then having a party at a later time. we don't need anything fancy since we both have been married before

I attended a wedding last weekend in the Avanti Mansion and it's a really lovely place you'd want to get married in. It's located in Buffalo NY. you could check their page out

Location is important not only for you but also for guests. THAT everyone felt comfortable. I understand you, we also thought for a long time where we will celebrate this event. But still came to one. What to look for alone is inconvenient to dp and to tuzhe very expensive ka who is everything. But we found a secret paradise that was incredible.

It's in Setauket, NY in a beautiful park. You get photo priveliges in the park if you get married there

I can't remember exactly but I think it was less than $3000. It's was so reasonable for long island and the rental comes with tables and chairs and the house for the weekend

I congratulate you on such a triumph. The place for holding such a celebration as for me should be bright and cozy. You are there all day there. My wife and I remember we picked up a couple of options, but unfortunately we did not fit the kitchen and the conditions. And the triumph is just around the corner. We did everything according to our taste and preferences. I think you need it
