For anyone considering Cactus Salon in Commack, I had my trial there today with Kristen. I am so very pleased!! It was a very quick 'just to get an idea' kind of meeting, but even after just an hour of trying this and that I could tell that I want her for my wedding day. I have obnoxious hair and she made it all go exactly where I wanted it to. The back was this really neat basket weave kind of look that I have never seen before, and the rest was up in big beautiful curls. She is also very easy to work with, and really listens, which was important to me.
I have one more trial appointment, but I think she is the one I'm going to book!!!

Trial pricing & wedding day pricing..please?
If you don`t mind me asking.... How much was the trial and the wedding day pricing. I have heard nothing but great things about Cactus and may use them myself. Do you know if they will come to your home? Thanks :)

The price for my trial was $45, and I was told that wedding day pricing runs $10 - $15 higher, depending on length and thickness of the hair.
I didn't ask about coming to my house, but they were so accommodating about every thing else that I don't see why they wouldn't. : )

It is in a shopping center at the corner of Vanderbilt Pkwy, and Commack Rd., across the street from the Bonwit.
