Florists

Ok, so I am very unsure about what to do here...blow my budget, or do something simple and spend more on honeymoon. Thoughts??? And does anyone have any reco for florists?? Thanks girls!!! Happy 4th!!!

I would spend it on the honeymoon. Flowers are beautiful but last mainly for the day. And don't get me wrong I loved my florist. She did an amazing job! I would use her again in a heartbeat. I got married 2 months ago and we didn't have enough for the honeymoon :( I kept my flower costs as low as I could and everything i brought home died a week later.....unless they're silk flowers they won't last very long. Good luck planning. Happy 4th!!!

We are using dalaimer spitz and peck in valley stream for our wedding at fox hollow. They were a little expensive but we felt so comfortable there. Depending how extravagant your style is, but we are using daisies, sunflowers & babies breath. Low centerpieces (wine bottles that I'm supplying) plus the bouquets and bootiners for about 12 people and they quoted us $3000

We wanted to spend under $2500 and we did. We're using hidden essence and we're getting my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 bouts, 4 corsages, 18 centerpieces (1/2 high 1/2 low), and rose petals and our votives on every table. It CAN be done on a budget.
