I got engaged January 23rd 2015. I am getting married May 7th, 2016. I had my Church, Venue (Watermill), Dress, Photographer and Band all taken care of within the first 2-3 months of being engaged.
I took a little booking break knowing that usually flowers, though obviously important don't have to be booked AS far in advance as the above.
I am planning on booking the florist In September. Is this enough time or should I be seriously booking this sooner? I am getting nervous the more I hold off. :)
Does anyone have some suggestions/recommendations of florists in Nassau County they have checked out/used?
I was planning on going straight to Flowers by Brian but some other options would be good to have. I know this is a pricey aspect of the wedding!
Thanks so much in advance!

Florist HELP! Nassau County?
It's never too early! We are using dalsimer spitz and peck on valley Stream. They are a preferred vendor for our location (fox hollow) and we felt really comfortable with them

Michelle from Hidden Essence - she is fabulous! Here prices are so reasonable and she is willing to work with you on budget.
I would book ASAP to help with budget planning, to be able to cross things off the list and just to ensure vendors are available. There are many 2016 brides who are almost all planned so it's never too early.
Just an FYI - I know they are a preferred vendor of Watermill but I have heard horror stories and wonderful things about Flowers by Brian so I decided not to meet with them. I also met with Flowers by Burtons but I felt like they were a wedding factory. Bella Flowers was fabulous and well priced but I clicked better with Hidden Essence.
Sorry, I know you said Nassau County but Michelle is too awesome to pass up.
