I fell in love with a floral bridesmaids dress from davids bridal for my girls (style F18055P), and my fiancé isn't the biggest fan of it, but is totally willing to meet me halfway and have a few in the floral and then have the rest in the solid that matches, but my parents are saying he should have no say in what the girls wear... I'm so conflicted.. what would you all do?

Of course he gets a say. It's his wedding too. You're parents aren't the ones who are getting married and if I were you I would welcome his input because he wants to be involved and a lot of guys want nothing to do with it.

Thank you so much. I really needed someone outside of the situations thought. That’s what I’ve been thinking in my head since this came about. I really appreciate it!!

RE:brides debate
I'm getting married next year and I make a point to include him in some decisions. Something like the dresses, I'd say yes he has a say, ESPECIALLY if he wants to meet you half way. There's no reason to shut him out. Remember this is both of your day and you both should be happy. It's one thing if he was trying to step on your toes but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think if your parents are just joking and having some fun with you, no problem...but the idea that your fiance doesn't have a say in wedding decisions is ridiculous. Of course he has a say, it's seriously nonsense to pretend otherwise! Maybe leave him out of YOUR dress...but if he hates floral dresses for bridesmaids, and you're willing to compromise, that's your business.

What about a compromise and have the maid of honor only in floral. Would be a nice contrast too.
