Okay they have yet purchased their dresses nor have they gotten measured. I'm trying to Contain my temper and this is the only place to do it. Everyone is acting like they got all the time in the world. I'm trying not to be mad.
are they buying off the rack or ordering dresses?
Ugh I know. I haven't had a problem with any of my Bridesmaids ordering their dresses except one, my cousin who lives in California. The rest of the girls ordered their dresses in either February or March when there was a coupon or they were on sale. It will take 3 months for the dresses to arrive. I reminded this cousin 3 days before the sale was over to get her dress. That was last month and she is still yet to order her dress after 3 reminders. At this point I'm only reminding her 1 more time and then I'm done. I'm not anyone's mother you either order it or you're not going to be in the bridal party. I have too much going on right to worry about other people. Ugh sorry for the long rant.
Trust me I understand! Fh doesn't seem to understand he just care about us getting. It doesn't make me feel good.
@FutureMrsGomez they are ordering online. Some of them are out of state and time is of the f* essence. I've spent hours researching for the least expensive attires and getting coupons but they don't care. The thing is they are family and their kids are also part of the bridal party. Their kids are so excited about being in a wedding, I don't understand why their parents are not being more active. Groomsmen just need to get measured but they are acting like they have time. You know what the new deadline is may 1st! Every one must get their orders in by then.

I completely understand. The bigger the party the harder it is to keep everyone aware of the proper use of time. The majority of us are parents and have busy schedules so it's been a process. My bridesmaids took their sweet time going in for their measurements as well. This was back in November. Their dresses are just coming in now because come January half the bridal party still hadn't done anything. And i sent them all monthly reminders. Now they're all panicking. Serves them right and honestly I'm just sitting back for this. I have a lot to do these next two weeks before the big day, on top of just life in general....it's out of my hands. I would suggest speaking to them again and trying to get through to them before its too late. Time is of essense. Good luck.
I hear ya! I was annoyed that I was put in the position to have to keep asking. And just as I suspected two of the girls waited so long they has to each pay a $75 rush fee. Frustrating....

No offense but hearing all these stories and going to bridal showers and hearing the bridesmaids talk crap abiut each other about this one not doing anything or this is mean etc..makes me happy with my decision to not have a bridal party. I would seriously yell at them all the time lol. If it was them getting married they would go crazy too
So FH doesn't think i should give the may 1st deadline or any deadline for that matter. I'm no one's mommy. I don't want to micromanage anyone. FH thinks I'm over reacting.
I gave my girls a deadline and there was no push back. I think it's the way you frame it. If you say to them that dresses need to be ordered by May first to guarantee that they come in with enough time for any alterations before the wedding I domt think that's an unreasonable thing to say - maybe just send a mass email to your bridal party with the link to the site. And then just send a reminder email a week before if there's anyone outstanding
