Alterations - desperate

I posted a few months ago about RK Bridal sending me the wrong color swatch, which caused me to order and then receive the wrong color bridesmaid dresses. They placed the correct order with the manufacturer and the dresses will be here on or about August 25th. That works for most of the bridesmaids except my sister, who lives overseas and won’t be back stateside until three days before the wedding. We were supposed to have received the dresses in time and she could take it to her excellent tailor and bring it back with her at the end of September.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a tailor who would be able to alter a bridesmaid dress within three days? I don’t know what I am going to do if this isn’t possible. Thank you!

Most bm dresses don't need that much alterations (hopefully!). Call your local seamstress and inform them of the situation and they may be able to work with you. If you give them the heads up and they expect the rush, it may be do-able

Try Alterations by Gina in Deer Park and there's another seamstress named Zizi in nassau county a lot of the 2015 brides used and loved.

Does Alterations by Gina have a cap or does she just tell you about how much? Debating on where to go and was just wondering how she works. Thank you!

My mom got her dress done at Alterations by Gina. She's great. She's old-school, but great. She was cutting away without any markings...tells you she's a pro. She'll tell you how much it will be. Cash only and you have to leave a deposit.
