addressing envelopes
What did you ladies to for the invitation addresses? I don't want to pay for calligraphy. Has anyone used a printer to directly print addresses on envelope instead of the labels? Help. Very frustrated.

We attempted to do this for our engagement invites and it was probably the worst day of our engagement LOL. It kept jamming, printing crooked, etc. So when we did our invites we just paid someone to address them.
I didn't do wedding yet, but for our save the dates I used LCIpaper.com. They were fantastic! Envelopes were printed on perfectly, they called me with questions and suggestions. I recommended, I may use them again depending on how I do my invitations.
I used Jessica Leigh Paperie. I dropped off my envelopes and she did they. But IMO it was pricey for just envelopes!
I used my printer to print directly on them. Didn't have a problem at all and they came out really nice!
i printed right onto labels and put them on the envelopes- they get thrown out anyway
I met someone via this site who did my envelopes (digital Caligraphy) was so affordable and so easy to work with.
Minted.com printed the addresses for us.
I've had best luck with a back loading printer and open envelopes on this one. I never printed on a laser. Try asking a print shop for quotes. If you're providing the envelopes and art, it shouldn't be too much.
What kind of printers did you ladies use?
