A warm welcome and congratulations to Kelly Alefeld and Peter Hilliger on their recent engagement. An extended congratulations to their respective families, as well; Mary and Bill Alefeld; Karen and Pete Hilliger. Kelly, in regulatory affairs from Holbrook, and Peter, an air traffic controller from Shoreham, were engaged on April 20, 2014 at Kelly's home. 'After an Easter egg hunt, the couple was emptying the candy out of the plastic eggs. The last egg Kelly opened had a ring inside. Pete got down on one knee and asked Kelly to marry him. She couldn't have been more surprised and, of course, said 'yes!'' The happy couple is looking forward to their May 20, 2016 Bellport Country Club wedding.
