A warm welcome and congratulations to Kristen and Thomas, as well as an extended congratulations to their respective families; Janet and Richard; Barbara and Jim. Kristen, with the state police, and Thomas, an iron worker Local 361, were engaged on November 22, 2013 at The Oar. 'It was perfect! The Oar is where we first met in May 2011. He wanted to see if his friend's boat was still in the water by the dock so we walked to where the outside bar and dance floor is, which is where we first met. When we walked back there, there was a table by the bar area, with a white table cloth, flower petals, a candle and two glasses of champagne. There were also different size mason jars with candles in them lit and places all around the bar and railings of the deck. They had an outside heater for us and one of the girls video taped it. It was amazing and sooooo unexpected!!! Couldn't and wouldn't want a proposal any other way.' The happy couple is looking forward to their September 19, 2014 Lombardi's on the Bay wedding.
