A warm welcome and congratulations to Renee Cotter and Nick Amato on their recent engagement. An extended congratulations to their respective families, as well; Diane and David Cotter; Patti and Steven Amato. Renee, a private nanny from Commack, and Nick, a MBA student from East Northport, were engaged on November 1, 2013 at Nick's house. 'Nick left a note on the front door of his house for me, telling me to 'walk through all our memories for my future will be waiting for me at the end.' When I walked in the door, I found a trail of rose petals and candles through the house, with photos from when we met in 7th grade up until the weekend before. When I got to the end, my future husband was waiting for me outside in a heart of candles and rose petals with icicle lights everywhere. When he got down on his knee and ask me to spend our lives together, and I couldn't say yes fast enough!' The happy couple is looking forward to their October 8, 2016 Long Island wedding.
