A warm welcome and congratulations to Amarisa Tunick and Alexander Coymen, and an extended congratulations to their respective families; Jeanette and John; Peggy and Sam. Amarisa, a teacher, and Alexander, in mental health, both from St. James, were engaged on December 25, 2012 at the groom's house. 'Alex gave me hideous Christmas presents, but I acted excited anyway. Then came the last gift and he said, 'I know this looks like it could be for me, but I can explain, open it, there's a lot of detail that I want to show you.' So I open it, wondering how much detail can this ornament possibly have on it, but to my surprise there was a ring. Alex immediately got on one knee and asked my hand in marriage and I said....YES!' The happy couple is looking forward to their May 11, 2013 Long Island wedding.
