close to buying a home! We put an offer on a house in Brewster, NY. The only thing is that someone else put an offer. It's tough!! I don't know what will happen! It's nerve racking!

Unfortunately we did not get a shot at this house. Apparently, the bank did not get our offer the first time around. Our real estate guy faxed it over to them. He was calling and calling and no one was calling back. Finally, they called & said that they didn't get it and to fax it again. He did and then they said that the house was in contract. DH and I are so upset about it because they didn't even give us a chance to counter offer on the house. We just gotta move on and keep looking.
