Spinoff ot Book Recommendations

I need to get myself a Kindle.
Can someone please explain how this works and what kind I should get.

i think you should get a nook.... but not the color one.... get the regular nook. it's a good price now. and i can make some great book recommendations for you....... i love to read & i love my nook!!

I have the nook color and I love it! You get internet access on it so you go on to bn.com, buy the book you want to read and it downloads onto the nook. You can also subscribe to magazines and papers and read them on your nook.

I have a tablet and downloaded the nook and kindle software and read my books like that

just an FYI - i have a regular nook (not color) and you can still download all your books on the regular nook... my nook is 3G. but I also have the first one to come out. they are much better now. the color is a good one.

I think one is owned by amazon and one is B&N and I believe with one you can share books with others and the other you cant

i was going to buy the kindle fire which i heard is awesome and i know the nook is coming out with a new version as well.

I personally love my kindle--DH bought it for me right off amazon.

But I have never used the nook...I'm just biased

i agree with her.. i have the nook ereader- from an engineering standpoint it has a better quality screen and you can connect to the library to check books out which is an awesome feature
