If you work out...

Do you work out/run/go to the gym before or after work?

For those of you who work out in the AM, what time do you exercise and then what time does work start?

**I exercise after work but I'm trying to get into mornings so I free up some time in the in the evenings to spend with DH or get stuff done around our apartment. AM exercise for me = 5:15am

I get up at 5:20, out the door by 5:40 to run. Get home by 6:25ish, shower and Im in work by 7:40ish.

I run along the Hudson River in Hoboken

I set my alarm for 530 but get up at 545 and run to the gym to get there by 6. I do 45 minutes of cardio and if i have time, do some weights. I run back and try to be back at the apartment no later than 710

And i start work at 830

I gave that up for Lent.

But when I used to exercise, it would have to be right after work or else I'd never do it. And FORGET mornings.

i say 3-4 days a week we are up at 5am at the gym at around 530(fh takes some time to get out of bed) when i dont go to the gym with fh im up at around 540 to go for a run.

we get home at around 635

he likes to be at work at 730am (suffolk boy)
im at work at 9am (city girl)

if i dont have the energy (on the weekday) to get out of bed in the morning i'll go for a run once im done walking the kids preppin dinner and lunch which is around 715pm. fh gets home at 8pm so by the time i get back hes just getting home

This is how I am now - I pack my gym clothes or stuff to go running and I do it STRAIGHT from work. No chance to go home and plop down on the couch...

But seeing how some of you girls do it, I feel like I should at least tryyy to do some morning workouts... All of you are still standing right?

If it's a cardio day I'll usually do that before work. Usually 530am, I'll be done by 630 and I'm at work anywhere between 745 and 10 depending on the day.

Other days I'll go after work for classes, but I'll have to come home first to make dinner and spend some time with my son before he goes to sleep.

Weekends I like to workout in the morning but not TOO early. 7 or 8am is good for cardio, or I'll take a 10am class.
