Did you put an offer in on the house? Was it accepted? After your offer is accepted I'm pretty sure contract comes next and the house is appraised. But I think with short sales there can be issues if the house is appraised at a much higher price than what the seller's are asking. I've heard short sales can be a very long process (6 months- year and sometimes longer).

we put the offer in and it was accepted.. I think now we just wait for the contract:)

Yayy!! SO exciting! I hate the waiting part. We put our offer in Feb. and we're FINALLY closing next week! It's a long process but so worth it! Congrats again! we put the offer in and it was accepted.. I think now we just wait for the contract:)
