Yes but at the same time they are making tons of money by the song ' travelin soldier' which is about vietnam which was a very unsupported war .. if you have heard the song they talk of the love of loving and supporting a deployed man.. then they try to sell extra records in the UK and knock our current President the way they did.
She was wrong and it bit her in the butt, there is a huge boycott of their music down where I am Pensacola, Florida and most of the radio stations in the state as well as Alabama and Georgia no longer will play their music.

Yes, she's entitled to her opinion. That's not my point. My point is, the manner in which she expressed it. Her comment wasn't expressed in an intelligent manner. It was personal and poorly executed. I think as a performer, she has a responsibility to convey her opinions in a responsible way. Not stick her foot in her mouth and shout out a bunch of nonsense. Was the comment she made a statement about the protest of war? No. It was a stupid attempt to gain attention. Well, she's getting the attention she deserves now and I hope it hits them where it hurts most, in the pocketbook. Apparently the only wide open spaces I see is the one between her ears.
