2012 crasher Question: To those who used them, do bells on wedding wands work?

Hi ladies.
I bought a bunch of bells from acmoore to put on my wedding wands. I tried attaching them and either they get the ribbons all tangled up in them or they dont make any noise.

Any suggestion on where to place them or should i skip on the entire thing?

What should I do with 200+ bells? Any suggestions?
