A warm welcome and congratulations to Kim and Gerardo, with an extended congratulations to their respective families: Janet and Jeff; Raquel and Gerardo. Kim, a patient access associate from Islip Terrace, and Gerard, a customer services rep from West Babylon, were engaged on October 12, 2013 at home with their children. 'I made Gerardo, using a deck of cards, a stack of '52 reasons why I love you!' At the end of the 52 reasons, I wrote a cute little saying, then told him I have never been so sure that he was the one and asked him to marry me. A couple of weeks later Gerardo took the ring, explained to my two daughters, and his step-daughters what he was about to do, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.' The happy couple is looking forward to their October 14, 2014 Long Island wedding.
