A warm welcome and congratulations to Jasmine Ross and Alim Smith, and an extended congratulations to Jasmine's family; Brenda Allen. Jasmine, a senior production manager, and Alim, a sergeant for MTA Bridges and Tunnels, both from Brooklyn, were engaged on December 22, 2012 in Central Park. 'He surprise me on a Saturday and said he wanted to go out that evening. We drove to the city and he told me we were going to see the tree at Rockefeller Center. I was so happy because I thought I wouldn't get to see it this year. We took pictures and he ask me if I wanted to walk to Central Park to go ice skating and I said yes. By the time we got to Central Park I was exhausted so he suggested we take a carriage ride instead. While we were in the carriage he got down on one knee and propose. I was crying and could hardly say yes but finally got it out. When we got back home he had my favorite flowers(Lilies) and champagne waiting. It was the best night of my life. I love him so much.' The happy couple is looking forward to their November 22, 2013 celebration of love.
