Type Cast: What Attracts Us To Each Other

July 6, 2016

We all have a type. Sure it may vary a little bit here and a little bit there, but for the most part, we like what we like. But, the question remains…WHY? Recent research conducted by Northwestern University suggests that for couples who start out as friends, there’s two ways it could go:
  1. The person grows on you with time
  2. The better you know them, the LESS attractive you find them because you’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The study also showed that couples who dated outside their social circle, attractiveness compatibility was KEY.
