The Finishing Touches: Adding That WOW Factor To Your Wedding Day Style

February 2, 2017

Most ladies, since they were little girls dream, dare I say fantasize about their wedding day…and it all start with finding Prince Charming and their dream dress.

But, when it comes to your big day, you’re going to want to accentuate your overall look with some amazing accessories.

  • Bedazzling Baubles:  Every bride wants to sparkle and shine…and 2017 is the year that is bringing glamorous back. That means plenty of elegant and eye-catching accessories. Think diamonds and pearls …with just a hint or “hautiness”…just enough to add sparkle and shine to your style but without going over the top. However, if you’re wearing an larger than life necklace, opt for smaller elegant earrings and vice versa…and, by all means don’t leave home without your e-ring.

  • Trendy Toppers: Your veil is the “icing on the cake” when it comes to your aisle style. Look for something that compliments your dress and your face. Keep in mind that a veil that is veiled in lots of material can overpower a smaller and more delicate face, so make sure you make your selection based on YOUR features, stature and on fabric, size and style. Hair pieces are another elegant option if you want to opt out of a veil. Think feminine hair clips, headbands, even haute hats…just make sure they  enhance your look and not drag it down.
  •
  • Heart and Sole: Take a step in the right direction with shoes that complete your look. But finding a pair that’s both chic and comfortable can be a challenge. Start by thinking about your venue and your season. You won’t necessarily want to be wearing stilettos if your exchanging “I Dos” on the beach….and you definitely won’t want a sexy sandal for a chilly winter celebration. Plus, (unless you plan on bringing a spare pare) you’re going to want to step out onto the dance floor in something you feel comfortable enough to party in. Last but not least, you’re going to want to make sure they enhance and work with the style of your dress and your overall look…so, for a vintage affair, look for something with vintage appeal and flair.

  • Classy Cover Ups: Fall and winter brides are going to want to keep warm while also looking their seasonal best. …especially if you’re planning on some incredible outdoor photos that take advantage of the seasonal surroundings. For Fall brides, cute cardigans are classic and classy while winter brides can choose couture coats or settle for faux fur stoles and wraps.
