Party Princess: Unique Inspirations For The “Party” Girl
March 13, 2017
Weddings are joyous CELEBRATIONS of love…and if you consider yourself a “party” girl…you’re going to want to treat guests to an event that packs a punch. Here are some inspiring ideas to help you get the party started right…and keep it going until the wee hours of the night.
1. Showers of Love: Consider renting a confetti cannon and shooting streams of confetti out onto the dance floor as you and your wedding party make your way out onto the dance floor….or during different points of the evening as guests “get down” and get their groove on.
2. Pack A Punch: Place a signature drink punch bowl on each table and let guests serve themselves to something cool and refreshing as things heat up out on the dance floor.
3. DIY Dessert Bars: Place some miniature pie shells, crepes etc. at a dessert station with an array of fabulous gourmet fillings and encourage guests to “build their own”…then give it to your pastry chef to cook and serve.
4. Something New: Put a new twist on and old trend. Instead of tossing out ONE bouquet, ask your florist to band together several little bouquets that will break apart when you toss them out into the crowd, giving more than one gal pal a chance to be the next to walk down the aisle.
5. Pop Culture: Rather than removing the brides garter…place it inside one, of a host of balloons to be released out onto the dance floor. Let each of your single gents pick one balloon to pop and the “lucky guy” who pops the balloon with the garter can be the one to place it on the lucky lady’s leg.
6. Exit Strategy: Give guests the chance to make a memorable exit. Set up a whimsical exit station and have your photographer take their picture as they say “Good Night”. Use these photos for personalized thank you notes.
